Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/InfoSys/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Experience in information security, systems engineering, infrastructure, or related roles.
• Understanding of threat detection, vulnerability management, endpoint security, access controls, and monitoring.
• Experience assessing and implementing security controls for critical systems.
• Programming or scripting in Python, Go, or similar.
• Familiarity with automation, modern engineering tools, and software development practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and across teams on complex projects.

Glocomms is partnering with a reputable and charitable financial firm to assist in the search for an InfoSec Engineering Specialist to support a variety of cybersecurity and systems engineering initiatives. This role blends hands-on security work, automation, software development, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical problems, improving security processes, and working across multiple technology disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and controls
• Support data protection, access management, and security governance initiatives
• Participate in security incident investigations, response activities, and remediation efforts
