Glocomms is seeking an InfoSec Engineering Specialist in New York, NY to blend hands-on security work with automation, software development, and infrastructure projects. You will help shape security policies and controls while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure solutions.

The role requires a foundation in CS or cybersecurity, experience across security and systems engineering, scripting in Python or Go, and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in CS/InfoSys/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Experience in information security, systems engineering, infrastructure, or related roles.
• Understanding of threat detection, vulnerability management, endpoint security, access controls, and monitoring.
• Experience assessing and implementing security controls for critical systems.
• Programming or scripting in Python, Go, or similar.
• Familiarity with automation, modern engineering tools, and software development practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and across teams on complex projects.
