Job summary

You will join the information security team to build, maintain, and improve threat detection and response capabilities across the organization. You should bring hands-on experience with security tools, Windows/Linux environments, scripting (PowerShell, Python), and a strong security fundamentals background.

Qualifications

• 4-year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of IT Security experience in security operations, incident analysis, incident handling, and vulnerability management
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools
• Hands-on experience in Windows/Linux environments
• Scripting with PowerShell, Perl, and Python
• Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of security fundamentals, IT knowledge, networks, and cloud technologies
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ or to be obtained within 18 months

Responsibilities

• Builds, integrates, and supports information security solutions
• Collaborates with networking teams, architects, developers, and others to ensure security
• Engages in troubleshooting and delivery with stakeholders
• Provides information security engineering support across the organization
• Ensures reports and findings are delivered to management in a timely manner
• Contributes to security policy, standards, and best practices
• Maintains knowledge on current security trends and implements improvements
• Executes certificate management and security monitoring enhancements
• Mentors teammates and shares knowledge within the InfoSec team
