Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related STEM field with strong academic record.
• Ability to commit to a full-time (40 hours/week) schedule for the 10-week summer program.
• Fluent in AI and LLMs, including strategic development and practical application to accelerate workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute continuous monitoring activities to ensure alignment with security controls and cyber compliance standards.
• Identify, design, and implement automated processes for internal and external security reviews and control evaluations.
• Assess current security risks, vulnerability trends, and technical requirements across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments.
• Partner with cross-functional technical teams to translate security concepts into actionable strategies for diverse audiences.
• Assist in evaluating risk profiles and advancing Appian’s global information security program.
