Senior Outsystems Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Develop secure and scalable OutSystems applications as per the business needs using OutSystems Multi-Experience Development Platform.
2. Develop innovative web and mobile applications following OutSystems development best practices and design patterns.
3. Design and develop integrations with external systems as per the standard practices and defined architecture guidelines.
4. Master low code and no code technologies combined with modern software engineering practices to design and develop innovative web and mobile business applications.
5. Own the end-to-end delivery following established timelines, application development standards, and quality processes.
6. Manage application design, development, enhancements, break-fixes, standard application changes, and maintenance activities.
7. Interact with clients to understand business and technical requirements.
8. Assess application performance and optimise application code, as needed.
9. Identify and mitigate risk/issues and escalate to stakeholders as required.

Experience:

1. At least 5 years experience in OutSystems software development/programming.
2. At least 10 years experience in developing web/mobile applications.

Technical Competencies:

1. Strong knowledge of OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and OutSystems lifetime. Experience on the OutSystems platform version 11 is preferred.
2. Experience in using form builders, defining business process workflows as per the requirements.
3. Experience in debugging processes using OutSystems Service Center.
4. Experience in integrating various systems into OutSystems and external DB.
5. Experience in OutSystems Reactive Web Apps development.
6. Experience in modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Vue, React, Angular, etc.).
7. Agile working exposure.
8. Experience in API integration.
9. Experience in Unit Testing.
10. Version control proficiency.
11. Understand and intelligently debug both existing and new software.
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
13. Experience in relational databases including SQL.
14. Certified OutSystems 11 – Developer certifications.
