Job summary

NATIVE HEALTH in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an IT Technician to provide on-site and remote technical support across all facilities. You will maintain IT infrastructure, respond to service requests, and assist with upgrades and deployments, ensuring reliable, secure operation of systems that support patient care and administrative programs.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or four years of equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of two years IT support experience in a multi-site or healthcare environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Console and Microsoft networking/OS software.
  • Experience working with people in a friendly, congenial manner.
  • Regular travel between Native Health sites is required.

Starting Hourly Pay: $23.51

Job Description

The IT Technician provides direct, on-site, and remote technical support to all NATIVE HEALTH facilities and staff, ensuring reliable and secure operation of computer systems, networks, and technology used across medical, dental, behavioral health, and administrative programs. This position plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of patient care and agency operations by maintaining IT infrastructure, responding to service requests, and assisting with system upgrades and deployments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to follow NATIVE HEALTH confidentiality and Privacy Act standards.
  • Must be dependable and be able to prioritize tasks to complete projects by due dates.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills—the ability to respond to emails and telephone calls promptly.
  • Must have good analytical skills.
  • Ability to have patience when working with employees and customers.
  • Knowledge of computer information systems, local area networks, and broadband connectivity.
  • Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, and VoIP.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and network operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Cisco DUO and other remote user applications and security systems.
  • Knowledge of Ticketing, Patch Management, and End Endpoint systems
  • Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software.
  • Ability to solve problems promptly.
  • The ability to perform other specific duties or assignments as directed by the Manager.
  • Ability to type 45 wpm.
  • Ability to regularly sit and/or stand for lengthy amounts of time, bending and reaching as necessary.
  • Ability to use fingers/hands to manipulate computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  • An associate degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; or four years of equivalent work experience may be substituted.
  • Minimum of two years of hands-on experience providing IT support in a multi-site or healthcare environment.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office 365 Admin Console and Microsoft network software and operating system software.
  • Experience in working with people in a friendly, congenial manner.
  • Regular travel between NH sites is required.

Standard Employment Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver’s license (within 30 days of hire if applicant is from out-of-state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years. No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years. Must maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license during employment. Must be insurable under NATIVE HEALTH’s liability auto policy.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within the initial ninety (90) calendar days of employment and retain a valid card while employed with NATIVE HEALTH.
  • Must pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing during employment.
  • Must provide an updated immunization (IZ) record at the time of employment.
  • Must have a current (within 12 months) Tuberculosis (TB) skin report upon employment and provide an annual update.
  • Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within (90) calendar days of employment and maintain certification during employment.
