Job summary

Role Description

The Information Technology Support Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in St George, UT. The specialist will provide front-line technical and help desk support to team members, including responding to service requests, diagnosing issues, and resolving problems related to desktop computers, peripherals, and core business applications. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring and maintaining workstations, managing user accounts and access, and assisting with basic network and connectivity concerns. The role will also support IT asset tracking, coordinate with vendors or external support providers as needed, and contribute to documentation of procedures and solutions. The specialist will collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure technology systems remain stable, secure, and aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills, including user assistance and ticket management.
• Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Desktop Computers, peripherals, and operating systems.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Information Technology concepts, such as basic networking, security best practices, and system configuration.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in an industrial or construction-related environment, familiarity with asset management tools, and understanding of common productivity and ERP software.
• Strong communication, customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) and/or an associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field are preferred but not required.
