The Association of Former Students in College Station, TX is seeking a Student IT Assistant to support IT operations and help desk tasks. You will assist with hardware and software issues, maintain printers and AV systems, and contribute to network and server-related installations while studying technology.
Ideal candidates are enrolled in a technology-related program at Texas A&M, eager to expand their IT skills, and able to work on campus in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
The Association of Former Students engages and inspires the Aggie Network for Texas A&M University in perpetuating the Aggie Spirit. Through our Annual Fund, as well as other revenue streams, we provide scholarships, endowments, emergency student loans, and awards for faculty excellence. Our newest colleague will join our highly motivated Information Technology team in advancing our mission through supporting high quality and efficient responses to The Association’s technology-related needs.

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, support IT operations through:
Ability to sit or stand for long periods on occasion and carry objects up to 20 pounds at events. Ability to work at a desk with frequent use of keyboard and monitor.

Required: Currently enrolled in university technology-related coursework.
Preferred: Currently enrolled as a student at Texas A&M in College Station in a technology-related degree program.
