Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience supporting IT projects, preferably in infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components (networks, servers, storage, cloud platforms).
• Experience with project coordination tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira or similar).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are tracked and met.
• Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and executing infrastructure-related initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams (network, server, cloud) and hospital stakeholders.
• Track project milestones, risks, issues, and action items; provide regular status updates.
• Assist with resource coordination, including vendors, internal teams, and third-party partners.
• Maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards, security protocols, and organizational policies.
• Coordinate change management activities, including maintenance windows and communication plans.
• Support procurement and inventory tracking for infrastructure hardware and software.

Location: Mineola, NY & Eastern Long Island locations

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Pay: $45 - $50/hr W2

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to support infrastructure initiatives within a large healthcare system. This role will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clinical/operational stakeholders to ensure timely execution of infrastructure projects including network upgrades, hardware deployments, system migrations, and data center initiatives.

• Exposure to vendors such as Cisco, VMware, Azure, or AWS
• PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification (or in progress)
