Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior leader to manage the AWS Platform Services team within the Enterprise Cloud Adoption group in Illinois. You will coach and guide a diverse technical team and build strong partnerships with business units, suppliers, and IT groups to drive cloud adoption.

You will own delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable AWS solutions, oversee governance, cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and automation, and push for cost optimization and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting and delivering results within complex, enterprise-scale IT environments.
• Proven experience leading teams, highly skilled technical resources, or large cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to guide technical and business resources toward successful outcomes.
• Demonstrated quick and clear decision-making skills.
• Strong people management skills, with a focus on developing others.
• Previous experience with IT Architecture or Cybersecurity.
• Foundational cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or GCP Cloud Digital Leader.
• Strong technical leadership skills and business acumen.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively with management, work groups, business units, and suppliers.
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
