East Hartford Public Schools is seeking an experienced information systems leader to plan, coordinate, direct and maintain the district's information technology systems and infrastructure. SALARY: $127, 017 per year (Per Contract)

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or Master's degree in Educational Technology or similar field.
2. Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in information systems analysist and deployment, network administration, hardware and network infrastructure design and implementation.
3. At least three years as a supervisor, project manager or operating manager, or any combination of education and experience which provides a demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position.
4. Knowledge of PowerSchool, MUNIS, SQL, Oracle, Access, Object Reporting, Google Apps, Google Drive, Apple iPad MDM, Windows Server, and other school/education technology resources strongly preferred.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Critical thinking skills and ability to evaluate and prioritize critical systems and work flow processes.
7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Chief Information Officer
JOB GOAL: To plan, coordinate, direct and maintain the information systems technology for the East Hartford Public Schools.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve months. Represented by Local 818.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy for non-certified staff.
