POSITION SUMMARY: The Information Technology (IT) Manager provides hands‑on leadership for the Bank’s technology operations, infrastructure, applications, cloud services, automation, and information security support functions. The position partners with business units, IT leadership, and strategic vendors to resolve issues, reduce risk, improve service availability, and support scalable technology operations. This position requires strong technical ownership, sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to lead teams through complex operational issues, audits, technology changes, security events, and time‑sensitive business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, coach, prioritize, and develop IT staff supporting infrastructure, applications, service desk, automation, information security, and operational support.
  • Provide hands‑on administration, troubleshooting, and support for servers, networks, endpoints, virtualization platforms, firewalls, VPN, identity systems, SaaS platforms, and banking applications.
  • Support AWS, Microsoft Azure, and related cloud services with attention to architecture, secure configuration, access management, monitoring, cost awareness, availability, scalability, backup, and resilience.
  • Develop and maintain automation that improves repeatability, reduces manual effort, strengthens controls, and increases operational efficiency through scripting, workflow automation, API integrations, CI/CD, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
  • Monitor systems, services, applications, security tools, backups, and cloud dashboards to ensure issues are assigned, escalated, documented, and resolved in accordance with incident management and disaster recovery expectations.
  • Manage relationships with key technology vendors and service providers, including Jack Henry and Associates, to support reliable service delivery, timely escalation, and effective issue resolution.
  • Lead IT projects, upgrades, migrations, integrations, cloud initiatives, automation enhancements, and other technology changes from planning through deployment and post‑implementation support.
  • Provide clear operational updates to IT leadership and Bank management during incidents, vendor escalations, outages, security events, and major project activities.
  • Support audits, examinations, risk assessments, and compliance reviews by maintaining documentation, producing evidence, responding to inquiries, and tracking remediation to completion.
  • Review security alerts, vulnerability findings, endpoint protection dashboards, and monitoring tools; support investigation, escalation, remediation, and preventive action.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including network diagrams, cloud configurations, inventories, runbooks, escalation procedures, automation workflows, vendor contacts, and operational checklists.
  • Coordinate monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, patching, lifecycle management, technology refresh, vendor coordination, and cost management across on‑premise, hosted, SaaS, and cloud environments.
  • Provide technical leadership during complex incidents and escalations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive controls, and lessons learned.
  • Facilitate staff meetings, project checkpoints, and operational reviews to promote accountability, knowledge sharing, and alignment with departmental priorities.
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity, backup validation, incident response, and operational resilience for critical systems and services.
  • Successfully complete and support technical, security, and regulatory training or examinations required by the Company.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve complex issues independently, and provide calm leadership during incidents and time‑sensitive operational events.
