Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking an IT Technician to join Wythe County Community Hospital, part of a nationwide healthcare network. This on-site role supports a busy hospital IT environment, focusing on user support, device configuration, and training to maintain reliable clinical and administrative operations.

We value strong customer service and a healthcare background; a high school diploma is required, with an associate degree in IT or related field preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
  • 2 years IT experience preferred, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses, resolves and closes customer issues according to service level guidelines. Promptly escalates issues to higher level technical support or management when necessary.
  • Provides support for mobile phones, configures desktop operating systems and servers, and manages account access, password resets, and user access privileges.
  • Provides end-user desktop training and minor hardware/peripheral repair as appropriate.

How You'll Contribute

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a High school diploma or equivalent.



  • Associate’s degree IT or related field is preferred.

  • 2 years of experience in IT or related field is preferred, preferably in a healthcare environment.

  • Must be possess high level of customer service.
