Gordon State College information technology department seeks a Federal Work Study student for Fall 2026/Spring 2027. This part-time position is up to 15 hours per week and pays $11.00 per hour.
Under the direction of the IT Help-desk Manager, the student will answer phones and direct calls, assist with password changes and basic software issues, and support the IC computer lab during daytime hours while maintaining professionalism.

Under the direction of the Information Technology Help-desk Manager, the student will assist the department by answering phones and directing calls, assisting students with password changes and basic software issues.
Assist the Information Technology Staff in the Instructional Complex (IC) computer lab during daytime hours.
Ensure that the proper supplies are available for the students.
Assist with various other duties as needed.
Must be Federal Work Study eligible.
Must be enrolled in at least six (6) academic credit hours.

Information Technology will be flexible and work with students around their academic schedules, but students are expected to behave professionally by showing up on time and informing staff ahead of time if they will not meet their work commitment.
