Job summary

A large, privately held food and beverage distribution company in Rosemont, IL, is seeking an IT Audit Manager to lead the Internal Audit IT program. This high-visibility role drives strategy, manages audits across multiple entities, and stays ahead of technology risks.

You will develop department strategy, lead risk assessments, review project deliverables, and build strong relationships with IT and business stakeholders. Hybrid work with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years IT Audit experience with 3+ years of leadership.
• CISA or CISM certification required.
• Strong knowledge of IT auditing principles and internal controls.
• Experience with data analytics tools (Alteryx a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing department strategy, policies, and procedures — driving continuous improvement across people, process, and technology
• Lead the annual IT risk assessment process and manage the IT Audit portion of the annual audit plan
• Manage and monitor the quality and timely execution of assigned IT audit projects including risk assessment, planning, scheduling, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up
• Review and approve all project workpapers and deliverables including audit updates, memos, and reports for Internal Audit management, Senior Management, and the Audit Committee
• Build and maintain relationships with business management and IT functions to understand emerging risks and evaluate their impact on the overall control environment
• Maintain awareness of IT and security trends and incorporate knowledge into audit projects and discussions with process owners and leadership

This is a high-visibility leadership role for an experienced IT audit professional who enjoys driving strategy, managing audit programs, and staying ahead of emerging technology risks in a complex, multi-entity environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong knowledge of IT auditing principles, techniques, and internal controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with data analytics tools (Alteryx a plus)
• CIA, CFE, or additional certifications a plus
