City of Cincinnati seeks an IT leader to guide the GCWW Develop, Integrate, and Deliver (DID) team, overseeing BI, content management, workforce management, and laboratory management initiatives. The role involves coordinating with divisions to deliver reports, workflows, and data updates for internal and external customers.
Ideal candidate has extensive IT leadership experience, can manage budgets and project portfolios, and communicates clearly with stakeholders.
This employee supervises the team that supports the strategies and requirements associated with GCWW’s Develop, Integrate, and Deliver(DID) team. The GCWW DID Team provides many IT services and solutions to GCWW internal and external customers. The team consists of 4 main program areas: business intelligence, content management, workforce management, and laboratory management. GCWW has invested in several technology tools to assist the GCWW DID team and the services they provide to their customers. These tools include PowerBI, OnBase, UKG, and Labworks. The DID ITAM will work with multiple GCWW Divisions on to provide a variety of reports, workflows, web page updates, and to manage critical laboratory water sampling data. As a member of the GCWW IT Steering Committee, the DID ITAM will contribute to the strategic planning and governance of technology initiatives, projects, and business process improvements. The position is responsible for providing leadership to the DID team, including project portfolio planning, budget management, resource alignment, and the overall direction of technology operations and services.
This employee supervises and coordinates assigned Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) or assigned department program activities and operations, such as network services, computer application services, systems administration of UNIX and mainframe platforms, database administration and data processing activities. Employee coordinates assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies, and the general public and provides highly responsible and complex staff assistance to the Information Technology Manager. Performs related duties as required.

Each applicant must have three years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst with the City of Cincinnati. Each applicant must also have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in computer science/information processing, mathematics, statistics, quantitative analysis, or a related field.
Each applicant must have eight years of experience in an Information Technology classification with the City of Cincinnati. Each applicant must also have an associate degree from an accredited college or university in computer science/information processing, mathematics, statistics, quantitative analysis, or a related field.
Each applicant must have a minimum of five years of supervisory/management-level professional work experience in Information Technology. Each applicant must also have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science/information processing, mathematics, statistics, quantitative analysis, or a related field.
Each applicant must have five years of experience within the information technology industry and two years of supervisory/management-level professional work experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and military or other demonstrable experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Military education and experience may be substituted for college level course work at the lower and upper division baccalaureate and graduate levels and apprenticeship training at the vocational certificate level on a case by case basis based on the American Council on Education (ACE) Military Guide recommendations.
