SALARY: The salary range for this position is $67,238.54 to $113,982.01 for Schedule A, and $67,238.54 to $108,282.93 for Schedule B. Newly hired individuals will typically start at the minimum of the salary range. Current employees promoted or advanced will receive a 5% increase of their base salary, not exceeding the maximum of the range or the minimum salary of the band, whichever is greater. Employees hired before June 3, 2014, are Schedule A; those hired on or after are Schedule B.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Bergen Vicinage IT Division seeks a motivated professional with excellent customer service, analytical, and technical skills. Under the general direction of the Court Executive 2b (IT Division Manager) or supervisory personnel, the candidate will be responsible for staffing the help desk, responding to/troubleshooting help calls, configuring, moving, and installing client workstations and peripherals, installing operating systems and applications, supporting wireless/mobile devices, managing user and computer accounts, supporting video conferencing and multimedia presentations, assisting with software/hardware deployments, upgrades, troubleshooting, and related duties.

REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary offers a hybrid schedule, with up to 3 remote work days outside Judiciary buildings. Applicants must install a multifactor authentication app and have high-speed home internet. Regular onsite presence is essential.

Responsibilities include planning technology rollouts, managing server and user accounts, monitoring security compliance, administering group policies, deploying software with Microsoft Configuration Manager, supporting SharePoint, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, supporting virtual court events, developing training materials, and supporting mobile devices.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and one year of professional IT experience, or equivalent experience/substitutions as detailed in the job posting. Physical ability and a valid NJ driver’s license may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US, and new hires must pass a background check. Residency in NJ is required within one year of hire.
