Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider in Herndon, Virginia, is looking for an Information Technologist (IT) I/Information Management Officer (IMO). This full-time role involves supporting Windows 11 environments, administering Microsoft Intune, managing user accounts, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Candidates should possess an Associate's degree or equivalent experience along with relevant certifications. The position offers a salary between $120-$130K with comprehensive benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2+ years supporting Microsoft Windows client environments.
• IAT Level II certification. Security+ and Computing Environment certification.

Responsibilities

• Support Windows 11 desktops and laptops.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets.
• Install and configure COTS/GOTS applications.
• Maintain Army security baselines, patches, and antivirus compliance.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues (LAN/WAN).
• Perform hardware repair and component replacement.
• Coordinate image updates with NEC.
• Enter, update, and resolve tickets in AESMP.

• Support Windows 11 desktops and laptops.

Required skills and experience

• Education: Associate’s degree in related field OR Three (3) years related experience.
• 2+ years supporting Microsoft Windows client environments
• Experience with: Device imaging, Patch management, User account/group management, Printer setup, Remote troubleshooting, Experience in a structured IT ticketing environment
• Microsoft Intune Endpoint Management experience
• IAT Level II. Security+ and Computing Environment certification. Maintain CE training as required.
