Job summary

J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors in Information Systems Technology.

The position focuses on delivering high-quality instruction and supporting student success across online and on-campus settings. Minimum qualifications require a Master’s degree in Information Systems Technology (or a Master’s with eighteen graduate hours) and familiarity with instructional technology such as Canvas.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Systems Technology; or a Master’s degree with eighteen graduate semester hours in Information Systems Technology.
• Knowledge of instructional technology applications, such as the Canvas learning management system.
• Related teaching experience in the community college and/or online is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with multi-cultural populations that support diversity, cultural understanding and inclusion is preferred.

Job Description:

Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties.
