Information Systems Security Specialist III - Norfolk, VA

Security Clearance

• Must hold or be eligible for an active DoD Secret personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of Program Information Assurance (IA) processes, including compliance with standards, cybersecurity, engineering, T&E, and Security Control Assessment under Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience with DIACAP.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining security policy artifacts to ensure compliance with Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
• Evaluate security solutions for processing classified information and maintain the operational security posture.

Experience

• Over 5 years of practical experience in cybersecurity, engineering, T&E, or A&A; or 7 years without a degree.
• Experience with IA tools such as DISA eMASS, ACAS; full Security Control Assessor qualification preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or managerial discipline preferred; high school diploma with additional experience acceptable.

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
