The role centers on maintaining security posture for information systems, ensuring RMF compliance, and serving as a technical advisor to ISSMs and program leadership. A TO/ATC process focus underpins successful IS deployments and sustainment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of information systems management and cybersecurity experience.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and DoD instructions.
• Experience with RMF compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appropriate operational security posture for IS and networks per policies.
• Advise ISSMs, PSOs, and DOAs on security matters.
• Develop RMF artifacts to support ATO/ATC and IS deployments.
• Perform IS lifecycle management from requirements to destruction.
• Prepare for cybersecurity assessments and document remediation strategies.
• Conduct cybersecurity audits and manage audit records.
• Complete annual security training to access systems.
