Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Lead

The Opportunity

CACI is seeking an experienced and proactive Information Systems Security Officer Lead to manage our organization's information security efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive information security program to protect our customer's data, systems, and networks from internal and external threats.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and mentor the information security team
2. Prepare and update a Systems Security Plan that encompasses all aspects of all automated information systems utilized to support the program
3. Oversee the implementation of information security policies, procedures, and best practices
4. Verify all software and hardware installed and operated comply with the government’s Security Certification Officer and COMM Program Security Officer (PSO) IAW the Program Security Plan
5. Prepare and update the Equipment Security Certification
6. Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities
7. Design and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats, data breaches, and other security incidents
8. Lead incident response efforts in case of security breaches or cyber attacks
9. Establish and implement a continuous monitoring plan IAW the customer’s Cyber Security Office guidance
10. Maintain security approvals and accreditations IAW ICD 503 and the NRO assessment and Authorization process
11. Provide integration and support associated with existing customer automated discovery network mapping activities and tools
12. Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organization
13. Provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders
14. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats

Qualifications:

1. Must have current TS/SCI with poly
2. University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in a related field
3. 5+ years of related work experience
4. Profound understanding of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security policies
5. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
6. Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
7. Relevant experience with IT service, cybersecurity, and/or Program Security
8. Ability to work closely with government partners, security counterparts, program managers, and offices within the Intelligence Community and other defense industry partners to ensure successful execution of program activity
9. Ability to work closely with internal cross-functional teams (Directors, Program Managers, Project Managers, and Contracting Officers)
10. Customer and team oriented and able to function with limited supervision
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
12. Ability to implement strategic goals
13. Establishes operational plans for technical area
14. Develops and implements innovative products, processes, standards, or operational plans

Pay Range

The salary range for this position is: $94,400 - $198,300. Factors influencing salary include location, experience, skills, education, and certifications. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, and educational support. Learn more here.
