Job summary

Constellation Technologies is hiring an Information Assurance professional in Maryland to lead security operations for large software programs. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph, extensive ISSO experience, and expertise with IAVA and SSP processes.

You will implement RMF/NIST controls, perform security evaluations, and maintain security documentation across complex environments. Competitive benefits and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (Polygraph within last 5 years).
• 10 years of experience as ISSO in secure environments.
• 5 years of experience using tools to support IAVA management.
• 5 years of experience preparing, maintaining, and managing SSPs and related docs.
• Experience with security tools and encryption techniques; security evaluations of systems; enforcing security policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day security operations of large, complex information systems.
• Conduct security evaluations of software systems to ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies and standards.
• Lead RMF/NIST-based security activities on large software development programs.
• Develop and maintain SSPs and related security documentation.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (Polygraph must be within the last five (05) years).
• Must have ten (10) years of experience as ISSO working independently, and/or on teams maintaining secure information system operations in isolated, connected and standalone environments.
• Must have five (05) years of experience using tools to support IAVA management.
• Must have five (05) years of experience using tools to support the preparation, maintenance, and management of SSPs and other security related documentation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with several of the following: current security tools; hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools.
• In-depth experience completing security evaluations of software systems or architectures to ensure they meet security requirements.
• In-depth experience proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, preferably on a large software or IT program.
• Demonstrated experience performing day-to-day security operations of large, complicated information and information processing systems.
• Must be committed to developing and adhering to best practices.
• Must possess a high level of self-initiative and must be a solutions-oriented team player.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 12 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience as an Information Systems Security Officer on large software development and integration programs.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level II or higher.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level II or higher.
