Job summary

Constellation Technologies seeks an experienced Information Assurance professional to support RMF, IAVA, SSPs, and ATO processes for large software programs in Maryland. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI with polygraph are required.

You will serve as ISSO, apply security controls, coordinate evaluations, and ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, delivering security documentation and risk mitigations.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Eight (8) years of direct/relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, System Engineering or related discipline.
• Four (4) years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience as ISSO maintaining secure information system operations.
• Experience with tools to support IAVA management and SSP documentation.
• Knowledge of security tools, encryption techniques, and security policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day security operations of large information systems.
• Complete security evaluations of software systems or architectures to meet requirements.
• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information security policies and standards.
• Support large software development and integration programs with security considerations.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (Polygraph must be within the last five (05) years).
• Eight (08) years of direct/relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, System Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Must have experience as ISSO working independently, and/or on teams maintaining secure information system operations in isolated, connected and standalone environments.
• Must have experience using tools to support IAVA management.
• Must have experience using tools to support the preparation, maintenance, and management of SSPs and other security related documentation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with several of the following: current security tools; hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools.
• In-depth experience completing security evaluations of software systems or architectures to ensure they meet security requirements.
• In-depth experience proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, preferably on a large software or IT program.
• Demonstrated experience performing day-to-day security operations of large, complicated information and information processing systems.
• Extensive experience as an Information Systems Security Officer on large software development and integration programs.
