Job Overview

ICF is hiring a cleared Information Systems Security Officer. This is a full-time, on-site position at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, supporting the Army Program Executive Office – Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors. Responsibilities include assessing cybersecurity risks, evaluating security controls, and recommending solutions to enhance security posture. The role involves reporting findings, overseeing remediation, and possibly leading audit teams to evaluate cybersecurity governance and operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform ISSO duties in accordance with DODI 8500.01, DODI 8510.01, and AR 25–2.
2. Ensure operational security for information systems across multiple security domains and classifications, complying with IC, DoD, and Army regulations.
3. Develop, review, and verify self-testing results to validate security requirements for various ISs, including CDSS, Cloud, On-Prem, Tactical, etc.
4. Maintain security posture and improve cybersecurity for assigned Army IS.
5. Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and maintain related documentation.
6. Prepare and maintain RMF system accreditation packages using tools like eMASS or XACTA, including SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, and other documentation per ICD 503, NIST 800-53, and CNSSI 1254.
7. Review vendor RMF packages and provide guidance.
8. Understand DISA PPSM requirements and manage PPSM accounts.
9. Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree + 7+ years of related experience or MS + 5+ years.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Active High-Level Security Clearance with SCI and Polygraph.

Certifications & Skills

• Primary certifications: DoD 8570.01 IAM II (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CASP+), GIAC Security Leadership, CCISO, HCISPP.
• Linux Certification required.
• Experience with DODI 8500/8510, ICD 503, NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253, Army AR 25-2, RMF security controls, and related processes.

Additional Information
