Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Mantis Security is a leading specialty firm specializing in Cyber Operations, Cyber Defense, Information Assurance, Software Development, DevSecOps, Security Engineering, and Cloud Engineering. We are looking for an ISSO to join our team.

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a highly qualified ISSO to lead Assessment and Authorization (A&A) for multiple analytic mission systems. The ISSO must be proficient in standard A&A activities, generate and maintain the security body of evidence (BoE), and work with software and cloud engineers to ensure security controls are met.

Duties Include:

1. Support A&A and RMF processes for multiple information systems
2. Work with engineers to ensure compliance and security requirements
3. Create and maintain security documentation
4. Perform security testing and assessments
5. Maintain Security BoE files in Xacta
6. Provide guidance on security policy application
7. Manage POA&Ms
8. Monitor operational systems

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 7 years, or no degree with 13 years
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
• Current TS/SCI eligibility or Active TS/SCI
• Ability to obtain a CI polygraph

Nice to have:

• Proficiency with Xacta IA Manager (or Xacta 360)
