*This position requires a TS/SCI Clearance and a minimum of two years of Special Access Program Experience*
The ISSO is responsible for maintaining the operational security posture for an information system, working closely with the ISSM and ISO. Responsibilities include managing security aspects of the system, physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security training. The role involves monitoring systems, developing and updating authorization documentation, implementing configuration management, and assessing security impacts of changes. The position supports Department of Defense agencies and handles activities related to Collateral, SCI, and SAP security.
Key responsibilities include:
Experience: 5-7 years in related roles such as System, Network Administrator, or ISSO.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years).
Certifications: Must meet DoD Directive 8570.01-M requirements for Information Assurance Technician Level II or Manager II within 6 months.
Security Clearance: Current Top Secret with SCI eligibility; willingness for Counterintelligence polygraph.
Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
