**Job Description**

The Information Systems Security Officer will be responsible for providing support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systemssecurity policies, standards, and methodologies.

+ Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.

+ Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system and performs day-to-day security operations of the system.

+ Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.

+ Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysisto support certification and accreditation.

+ Provide configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.

+ Manage changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changes.

+ Prepare and reviews documentationto include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs).

+ Support security authorization activities in compliance with National Institute of Standardsand Technology Risk Management Framework (NIST RMF).

**Must Have:**

+ 8 years of experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

+ Experience is to include at least one (1) of the following area:

+ knowledge of current security tools

+ hardware/softwaresecurity implementation

+ communication protocols

+ encryption techniques/tools.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university or 12 years of experience as an ISSO may besubstituted for a bachelor's degree.

+ IASAE Level II certification which includes any one of the following:

+ CASP+ CE

+ CISSP (or Associate)

+ CSSLP

+ Active TS/SCI with polygraph

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of **California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia** . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
