Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB.

The role focuses on RMF and JSIG authorization, security policy development, and leadership of cyber-security professionals. Candidates should have DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level 2, TS/SCI eligibility, and strong communications with government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 4 additional years may substitute
• 5+ years of information security experience
• Active DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level 2 certification
• Experience with RMF/JSIG processes
• Experience building RMF evidence artifacts
• Strong communication with customers and management

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and evaluation of information security program policy and its implementation.
• Integrate SAP network infrastructures into the security program policy.
• Advise on RMF assessment, authorization issues, and JSIG processes.
• Conduct periodic security testing using intrusion detection and monitoring tools.
• Evaluate authorization documents and provide recommendations to government PMs.
• Lead and mentor Cyber Security and IT team members.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Perform oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security program policy; special emphasis placed upon integration of existing SAP network infrastructures.
• Develop and oversee operational information systems security implementation policy and guidelines of network security, based upon the Risk Management Framework (RMF) with emphasize on Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) authorization process. Develop and maintain a formal Information Systems Security Program. Develop Assured File Transfers (AFT) on accordance with the JSIG.
• Advise customer on Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessment and authorization issues. Advise government program managers on security testing methodologies and processes.
• Ensure periodic testing is conducted to evaluate the security posture of IS by employing various intrusion/attack detection and monitoring tools (shared responsibility with ISSOs). Perform risk assessments and make recommendations to DoD agency customer.
• Evaluate authorization documentation and provide written recommendations for authorization to government PM’s.
• Coordinate all technical security issues outside of area of expertise or responsibility with ISSE.
• Provide expert research and analysis in support of expanding programs and area of responsibility as it pertains to cyber security and information technology activities. Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for Cyber Security and Information Technology team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• At least 5 years direct/related experience in information security.
• Active / valid DoD Directive 8570.01-M Information Assurance Manager Level 2 certification
• Experience with DoD/USAF information security policy background with practical / hands‑on experience applying RMF processes and principles.
• Experience developing and/or contributing to an RMF body of evidence composition, applicable artifacts, and associated control families.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 7 years direct/related experience in information security.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active Top Secret Clearance
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility)
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
