Maintain responsibility for all Information Systems Security Officer ( ISSO ) duties in support of Information Systems, CSS Risk Management Framework, IC Directive, 503 Practitioners manual, and the Committee on National Security Systems Instruction, and 1253 security controls. Serve as an advisor on all matters, technical and other wise. Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information and assist with the CM for information system security sof tware, hardware, and firm ware. Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation and maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs, and network switches, including system upgrades. Work in coordination with the System Owner, be responsible for all continuous monitoring, and ensure systems are compliant with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and IC Vulnerability Management. Ensure remediation actions based on the results of CM activities, assessment of risk, and outstanding items in the POA & M are implemented. Work successfully in a team environment.
