Job description

Job Description: Senior Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE)

This position requires expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF), NMAP, PKI, Wireshark, auditing, penetration testing, scripting, and certifications such as IASAE, CISSP, ISSEP, and NISCAP. Due to federal contract requirements, U.S. citizenship, an active TS/SCI security clearance, and a polygraph are mandatory.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Security Systems Engineering, or related field.
  3. At least 14 years of experience in an ISSE role or similar.
  4. DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 3; CISSP and ISSEP certifications are required.
  5. Minimum five years' experience with Defense in Depth principles, including access control, PKI, network security, and risk assessment.
  6. Hands-on experience with security tools like Nessus, NMAP, Wireshark, and secure system configurations.
  7. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2 or 3 compliance.
  • Experience with security service management, penetration testing, and application security.
  • Experience with scripting languages and developing security policies.
Compensation and Benefits:

Annual salary range: $140,000 – $265,000, based on experience and qualifications.
