Job summary

Helm Point Solutions, Inc. is seeking Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSE) to support vital intelligence operations in Linthicum Heights, MD. The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and 5+ years of ISSE experience. A DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2 certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Assurance, or related field.
• Four additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2 compliant (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and IA compliance.
• Define, verify, and validate security requirements and contribute to the design of security architectures.
• Implement and integrate IA and cybersecurity solutions across complex technical environments.
• Support architects and developers in applying security policies and enterprise security solutions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle.
• Apply advanced knowledge in risk management, incident handling, intrusion detection, and security engineering.
• Support certification and accreditation activities within NSA/CSS NISCAP, DoD RMF, and NIST RMF frameworks.

You'll join a skilled cybersecurity team responsible for strengthening the systems that protect the country’s most sensitive missions-delivering standardized, scalable security solutions across multiple teams and environments.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

• Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure IA compliance.
