TAP Engineering LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers and clusters. You will work with highly skilled engineers and directly contribute to missions that strengthen national security.

Key responsibilities include security engineering on IA architectures, secure networking and enclave environments, risk analysis, and interaction with government customers.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2 compliance.
• 12 years of ISSE experience on programs/contracts of similar scope.

Responsibilities

• Participate as security engineering representative on engineering teams for secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
• Participate as security engineering representative on IA architecture design and integration.
• Lead as primary security engineering representative on secure networking and enclave environments.
• Apply IA policy to design, develop, and implement secure environments.
• Interact with customer and project team members.
• Support government in enforcing trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
• Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
• Identify overall security requirements for proper handling of government data.

Position Overview

TAP Engineering is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments. You'll have the opportunity to grow your security skills and technical expertise alongside highly skilled engineers, collaborate with exceptional teammates, and directly contribute to missions that strengthen our nation's security.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
• Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of IA architecture(s), systems, or system components
• Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
• Apply knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
• Interact with the customer and other project team members
• Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components
• Support the Government in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures
• Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management
• Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with appropriate polygraph
• U.S. citizenship required
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 12 years of ISSE experience, or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2
• 12 years of experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, to include recent experience within the last 5 years with cybersecurity principles and technology, including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, PKI, and network and enterprise security architecture

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 - 165,000, based on relevant experience, qualifications, and other applicable factors. The compensation range provided is a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Clearance Requirement

This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with appropriate polygraph. Clearance processing and maintenance will be conducted in accordance with U.S. Government requirements.
