Job summary

Bcore in Chantilly, VA is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to support government missions. You will ensure secure integration of a commercial product within customer networks and apply RMF, NIST, and A&A practices across cloud environments.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on security engineering experience, artifact development, and strong communication skills to articulate risk and remediation to stakeholders. This role requires TS/SCI with Poly and is on-site in Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• Experience engineering, implementing, and assessing security controls for cloud-hosted information systems per RMF, ICD 503, NIST, and A&A processes.
• Experience securing cloud environments across identity, network, compute, storage, database, logging, monitoring, encryption, and privileged-access controls.
• Ability to translate security requirements and architectures into implementable technical designs and evidence packages.

Responsibilities

• Integrate a commercial product into a customer network with the government customer to ensure seamless operation.
• Assist in developing and maintaining A&A artifacts, SSPs, control statements, diagrams, test plans, and POA&Ms.
• Communicate security risks, decisions, and compliance status clearly to stakeholders and teams.
