The Sea, Land, Air Analysis Group’s mission is to deliver objective analyses, plans and strategies to US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Air Force, other DoD, and Australian Defence Force clients to support technology development, acquisition, delivery and sustainment decisions. The group provides the core of SPA thought leadership on Undersea Strategy, Software Development and Cost Estimating, with additional benchmark capabilities in AI/ML & Decision Analytics, Modeling and Simulation, and Future Force Assessments.
SPA has an immediate need for a Senior Network Specialist.
The Senior Network Specialist (SNS) will be responsible for designing and defining system architectures for new and existing solutions, with a focus on data transfers, cross‑domain services, and workload integrations. The role includes designing, implementing, and maintaining hybrid cloud integrations across multiple public cloud providers, as well as supporting current systems and resolving complex technical issues requiring detailed analysis. The SNS will apply strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to identify and address issues that maximize the value of the organization’s Information Technology (IT) investments. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the planning of large‑scale projects through vendor comparisons and cost studies, along with supporting the implementation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of multiple systems to ensure reliable and mission‑aligned performance.
