Manager of Information Systems responsible for overseeing application support operations, system performance, and service delivery to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction. Leads and mentors staff, manages projects, monitors KPIs, and drives process improvements while maintaining strong relationships with clinical and operational departments. Ensures timely issue resolution, system enhancements, and alignment with organizational goals through effective communication, strategic planning, and continuous improvement. The IT Manager serves as a key liaison between Information Technology and business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions effectively support organizational goals, regulatory requirements, operational excellence, and exceptional customer experiences.

Service Management - Actively monitors assigned HEAT tickets, documents activities thoroughly, and resolves issues within the established service levels in a consistent manner Demonstrates a thorough knowledge and understanding of supported IT systems. Ensures systems are updated timely with regard to system releases and patches . Evaluates and completes employee's job evaluations prior to the due date. Ensures supported systems include reports, dashboards and other tools to allow for effective data analysis of key metrics. Monitors KPI's, work queues and other related metrics to ensure baselines are being met. Is able to groom, mentor, manage, and lead the team effectively. Develops and monitors educational plans to ensure employee knowledge growth. Maintains relationships with the Supported Departments a. Periodically attends department meetings to educate and communicate as needed b. Develops and implements a process to regularly report departmental status to all departments Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets and status reports for assigned projects. Monitors productivity of staff and develops innovative methods to increase productivity without sacrificing quality. Oversees the operations of the assigned systems on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of staffing, productivity, and all other core functions of this role. Keeps abreast of the latest developments in technology and recommends changes in hardware/software in an effort to meet the needs of the Medical Center.
