Job summary

Trustmark National Bank is seeking an Audit Manager - Information Systems to lead IT audit engagements, evaluate internal controls, risk management, cybersecurity, and governance across the organization. You will oversee audits from planning to reporting, partner with IT and Internal Audit leadership, and drive continuous improvement of governance, risk management, and control environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, IS, IT, or cybersecurity.
• Six (6+) years of IT audit, internal audit, risk management, information security, or technology consulting.
• CISA Certification required.
• Knowledge of IT audit methodologies, internal controls, and risk management practices.
• Knowledge of information systems, cybersecurity principles, and technology-related business processes.
• Familiarity with generative AI and other AI-enabled tools, with the ability to incorporate these technologies into daily work activities.
• CISSP and/or CRISC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute IT audit engagements across the organization.
• Manage audit lifecycle from planning through reporting within timelines and budgets.
• Develop audit scopes, risk assessments, testing strategies, and work plans.
• Facilitate walkthroughs with IT and stakeholders to gather information.
• Document audit procedures and control matrices to evaluate IT controls and cybersecurity safeguards.
• Communicate objectives, requests, status, and findings clearly with IT managers and stakeholders.
• Build productive relationships and manage conflicting priorities during engagements.
• Review audit documentation for accuracy and completeness.
