A public university in California is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Decision Sciences and Information Systems. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, maintain a strong research program, and engage in community service. A doctorate in a relevant field is required. The anticipated salary range is $10,750–$11,750 per month, with a competitive benefits package.
California State University Fresno, Craig School of Business, Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences (ISDS) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, maintain an active program of scholarly and applied research, and engage in service to the department, college, university, and community. Primary teaching responsibilities and research interests are expected to focus on Decision Sciences and Information Systems, with teaching assignments based on departmental needs and the candidate's expertise. Candidates with especially strong research and teaching experience may be considered for the Brix Endowed Chair.
The ISDS Department currently hosts two options: Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Data Analytics (DA). ISDS offers courses in statistics, analytics, machine learning, database management systems, analysis, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
Priority will be given to applications received by October 31, 2025. The position will remain open until filled. Review of applications will begin immediately after October 31, 2025. All positions at Fresno State are subject to funding availability.
