The Finance Cost Model Governance team enables the Finance and Controllers organization to operate, record, report and manage financials. We maintain strong governance, controls, implement finance processes of the future as well as equip Operations Finance partners with knowledge, guidance and tools to be subject matter experts to their partners. This team also enables all PG&E in operational reporting and performance measurement. This involves the advisement toward business requirements gathering, conceptual design, end-user acceptance testing, and guidance on the overall improvement of applications used by Finance.
The Finance Cost Model Governance Analyst will be responsible for model management, file and value alignments, journal entry submissions, process tracking, and documentation support. The team enables the Finance and Controllers organization to operate, record, report and manage financials. This team also enables all PG&E in operational reporting and performance measurement. This involves the advisement toward business requirements gathering, conceptual design, end-user acceptance testing, and guidance on the overall improvement of applications used by Finance.
Positions in this job family provide oversight to the Cost Model Governance team. The team is responsible for the company’s financial data integrity.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the Oakland General Office.

The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case‑case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
