Job description

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Information Systems Security Specialist III to join our team in Charleston, SC.

Predicate Logic also has offices in Chesapeake, Virginia, specializing in communications engineering, training, and Cybersecurity, and in Charleston, South Carolina, supporting the Navy and Marine Corps programs through Naval Information Warfare Center Charleston.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support all aspects of a Program Information Assurance (IA) processes tailored to include minimum qualification standards, fundamental awareness and familiarity to demonstrated competency with specific experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Test & Evaluation (T&E), and/or Security Control Assessor (SCA) under a Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and/or Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process.
• Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and/or include prior experience with the Defense Information Assurance & Certification Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
• Familiar with security policies & guidance documents to assist with the preparation and maintenance of artifacts, traceability documents purposed for compliance with the Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
• Evaluate and maintain the operational security posture for an information system or program.
• Assist or develop system security policy and ensure compliance of change management and configuration control processes.
• Plan and coordinate the IT security program and policies supporting the command leadership mission and goals.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  
  

EXPERIENCE:

• Greater than five (5) years of practical experience in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A (formerly C&A) related field with a college degree.
• Greater than seven (7) years of practical experience in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A (formerly C&A) related field without a college degree.
• Have worked with Information Assurance tools such as DISA Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).

EDUCATION:

• College degree in a technical or managerial-related discipline or High School Diploma/GED.
