Position Overview:

The opportunity involves working with the Department of Defense (DoD) to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks. You will analyze technical, environmental, and personnel details, develop mitigation plans, and guide clients through security strategies, including presentations and white papers. This role also offers the chance to expand your expertise in Cloud Computing while acting as a subject matter expert in information security.

Responsibilities include:

1. Discovering and analyzing cyber risks within DoD environments.
2. Understanding applicable security policies and standards.
3. Developing and presenting mitigation strategies.
4. Translating security concepts for decision-makers.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in IT, focusing on risk, security compliance, and system integration.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, CNSSI, DoDI 8510.01, and DoDI 8500.01.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Information Systems.
• Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level I Certification.
• DoDI 8140 and ISSO DoD certification.

Additional Information:

Applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation:
