Security Clearance: Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret) required prior to start. U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

This role involves supporting classified computing environments onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, managing cybersecurity compliance directives, creating and enforcing SOPs based on government regulations (NISPOM, DFARS, JSIG, etc.), and utilizing a variety of cybersecurity tools and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage system compliance including configuration analysis, change control, hardware/software management, audits, incident response, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and update the System Security Plan (SSP) and ensure security policies are followed.
• Ensure users have proper security clearances and provide security training and guidance.
• Review and archive security logs, report anomalies, monitor system vulnerabilities, and analyze user activity.
• Manage security material assets and maintain technical knowledge of security policies and safeguards.
• Assess work implications and recommend solutions.

Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
• Typically a University Degree with 2+ years relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one within a year.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification (Security+) or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Security+, A+, Network+, CAP, CASP+, CISM, CISSP, Cisco (CCNA).
• Experience with NIST SP 800-series RMF, STIGs, SCAP, Splunk, SIEM tools.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to fast-paced environments, work independently, and remain calm under pressure.
