TIS is seeking a Mid-Level ISSO to support cybersecurity for a high-impact government program. You'll assess vulnerabilities, analyze security events, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure system compliance and protection. Hybrid position.

Description

Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in information assurance or related disciplines.

• Prior experience supporting U.S. Government agencies, with preference for command or national intelligence organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a range of information assurance (IA) activities and tasks related to specialized technology systems.

• Assist in identifying IA requirements for current and future hardware and software systems.

• Conduct network vulnerability testing and security assessments.

• Prepare documentation, reports, and studies related to IA risks, threats, and requirements.

• Develop security assessments to understand and resolve security incidents.

• Evaluate problem areas, assess potential impact, and recommend effective security solutions.

Skills and Proficiencies:

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and threat analysis.

• Experience with security tools and vulnerability testing methods.

• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, high-security environment.
