Job summary

Computer World Services seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to ensure information systems compliance for the CBP Network Operations Center. The ISSO ensures compliance with CBP, DHS, and FISMA for all NOC/WNOC environments.

The role involves maintaining authorization packages, conducting vulnerability reviews, supporting RMF/DHS 4300A activities, coordinating incident response, and preparing audit documentation.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in information assurance or cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and DHS 4300A.
• Security+ or CISSP certification.
• Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• CBP/DHS ISSO experience.

The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) ensures information systems compliance with CBP, DHS, and FISMA requirements for all NOC/WNOC environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability scanning and review Nessus findings.

• Springfield and Ashburn, VA (with possible travel to Orlando, FL, and other CBP facilities).
• Must have favorably passed a full five (5) year background investigation (BI) required by CBP policies and procedures for employment prior to beginning work with CBP.
