Job summary

The Greentree Group is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Wright-Patterson AFB mission from Beavercreek, OH. You will create and enforce Air Force security policies, manage risk, and monitor security across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will guide SDLC security, review STIGs, and ensure access controls align with guidelines. The role requires DoD frameworks knowledge and DoD IAM Level II certification, with a path for growth in a dynamic federal IT team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 6 years’ experience.
• Knowledge of DoDI 8500.01, 8510.01, AFI 17-101 and NIST SP 800-53 controls.
• Active DoD 8140 IAM Level II certification or equivalent.
• Familiar with eMASS and POA&M requirements.
• Strong IT security knowledge across networks, OS, and tools.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work in a team and individually with tight deadlines.
• U.S. Citizens able to obtain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement Air Force security policies, procedures, and controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans.
• Configure cloud security tools to monitor networks and logs.
• Develop continuous monitoring techniques and procedures.
• Review STIGs and code scans for compliance and vulnerabilities.
• Provide security guidance across the SDLC.
• Ensure access controls meet security guidelines.
• Report incidents and initiate countermeasures to restore posture.
