About the Role

Parsons is seeking a talented Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team. This critical role involves conducting information systems security engineering activities throughout the lifecycle, capturing and refining protection requirements, and integrating security functional requirements into acquisition and development processes using systems engineering principles. The role requires knowledge of security controls, software engineering, and secure coding techniques, with coordination with assessment and authorization stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience supporting virtualization platforms like VMware, Xen, Hyper V; non-degreed candidates need 6+ years of relevant experience
• IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+)

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of ICD 503 and the certification and accreditation process
• Proficiency with networks, protocols, and COTS technology
• Experience with system methodologies, client/server, web hosting, and related technologies
• Expertise in software integration and configuration/support of Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac OS
• Experience in software engineering, project management, system maintenance, and testing
