Qualifications

• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, network, or platform security concepts.
• Ability to document technical controls and support accreditation efforts.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the program.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for embedding security into system design, hardening platforms, supporting authorization activities, and resolving vulnerabilities in partnership with engineering and operations teams. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, security engineering discipline, and the ability to translate requirements into practical, supportable controls.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer security controls into systems, infrastructure, and integration workflows
• Support RMF implementation, accreditation, and authorization activities
• Perform hardening, secure configuration, and STIG compliance actions
• Assess vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation, and verify corrective actions

• Exposure to cloud, container, or DevSecOps security practices
