Job Summary

The Level 1Information System Engineeris responsible fordeveloping and supporting internal software systems used in manufacturing andlogisticsenvironments. This position focuses on implementing,maintaining, and customizing Windows-based applications, as well as supporting system-related issues on the shop floor.Work may involve both new development and modification of existing tools to meet internal operational needs.

The teamis responsible fordeveloping,maintaining, and supporting internal software systems to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of manufacturing andlogisticsprocesses. Their work enables rapid development, testing, and deployment of high-quality applications tailored to internal needs. The team also delivers database solutions, integrates systems, and collaborates with stakeholders to improve operational workflows.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop,maintain, and customize internal Windows-based applications to support manufacturing andlogisticsoperations.
• Assistin implementing new features or improving existing systems to align with evolving internal requirements.
• Create and optimize SQL database solutions, including stored procedures and custom functions for efficient data handling and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver system enhancements.
• Generate user documentation and provide training to support effective system adoption.
• Provide technical support for shop-floor systems, labeling tools, and logistics-related software, including basic system and data analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team's goals.

Required Skills/Abilities (Example of skills set)

• Basic programming knowledge in .NET, C#, Java, Python, or PHP.
• Exposure to front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL query development, stored procedures, and general database concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for internal collaboration and documentation.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Education and Experience (Example)
