Job summary

Nightwing seeks an Information Systems Security Specialist to support DHS's Hunt and Incident Response Team (HIRT) in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on managing RMF lifecycle for IT systems, supporting lab security, and coordinating with ISSM and CISO.

Qualifications

• Requires DoD 8140 IAT Level III/related certifications or equivalent.
• Experience implementing RMF/ATO documentation and POAMs.
• Strong knowledge of RMF, A&A, and security control implementation.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of Information Assurance professionals to manage the full RMF lifecycle for IT systems.
• Assist leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
• Establish goals and plans to meet project objectives.
• Support security management, staffing, and requirements to ensure technical compliance.
• Interface with senior management during client negotiations and project discussions.
• Support decision-making and domain knowledge with high-impact assignments.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing cybersecurity lab security.
