Job summary

Stellarus is seeking an Information Security Risk and Governance Specialist to translate regulatory, contractual, policy, and security requirements into sustainable governance and control practices. You will support IT security compliance, maturity initiatives, and audit-readiness across policy, regulations, and control standards within the Information Security team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
At least 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience with security assurance and trust frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Experience engaging with internal/external auditors and explaining technical concepts.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven project management and deliverables experience.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of healthcare information security governance, risk, and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

Mature the Compliance function and support IT audit-readiness with policy, regulations, and control standards.
Translate regulatory and contractual requirements into measurable governance and control practices.
Support ongoing governance initiatives and drive continual improvements in metrics and deliverables.
